Essence Nude Lipstick in Come Naturally

There haven't been many Essence products that I've tried and been utterly disappointed with-how could you be for the price?! I love so many of their lipsticks but at the moment I'm obsessed with the nude range. This one is definitely my favourite.
I'd been looking for a shade like this one for a while and I finally found it! It's not too purple, not too pink and just the prettiest shade ever. The formula is great too because I have really dry lips, and it's not too matte or shimmery. It's creamy and pigmented and kinda reminds me of the NYX Butter Glosses. The coverage is really nice and I've bought 3 of them just in case they don't make more!

This is about 2.90 most places so it's definitely worth trying!

Touch Of Silver Brightening Shampoo

I've been colouring my hair for years, and definitely don't recommend dyeing it yourself unless you really know what you're doing. No matter how much I change my colour, I always find myself going back to get some form of blonde highlights which we all know, tend to fade like a mofo. At the moment my hair is kind of ballyagish, roots fading to blonde..I honestly don't know how to describe it, but it's in pretty good condition, the blonde is bright, and I haven't dyed it more than once.

Unfortunately if you have dark hair like me, it can take ages to make the change the blonde, and your hair can get so damaged in the process. When I asked for blonde at the ends of my hair I loved it but knew it would take time to make it lighter, and I found a way to brighten it without any damage. I decided to try Touch Of Silver Brightening Shampoo, and I just adore this product. Without sounding like an advert, you really do see the results after one wash-it's amazing. I like to leave it in for longer than it recommends..maybe a bit too long but I love how it makes my hair really, really bright.

I definitely recommend this shampoo if you're looking to tone your hair. It's so affordable-should be no more than a fiver most places. One thing I will recommend is using a nice conditioner in conjunction with this :) You can buy this in Boots and probably most pharmacies

Avon Ideal Flawless Foundation

Hello everyone! I've been having a little trouble with my new blog design, so I haven't been able to post much, but hopefully i'll sort everything out soon enough.

Today I'm reviewing a lovely little find from one of the most underrated (in my opinion) makeup brands out there. I have trouble finding foundations that I really really like. High end or drugstore, I can never seem to find any that I absolutely love. I've been looking for one that gives good coverage without being too heavy, but still provides a dewy/silk finish.

Why I love it:

Avon Ideal Flawless does all that, and I just love it. The coverage is light-medium and it evens out my skin tone, hides imperfections and has the nicest finish too. It comes in lots of lovely shades and I love using a darker shade at the sides of my face if I'm going out. I've found the best way to apply this is with my Beauty Blender but it's gorgeous when applied with a buffing brush too.
It's around 9 euro which I think is a great price. I'll definitely be trying out more of their foundations and I have a feeling there'll be more hidden gems with this brand!
