How To Pluck Your Brows Minus The Pain!

For those of us who wince at the thought of plucking our brows, there's a tip that can make life so much easier! I used to use an ice cube to numb the brow before plucking, but I didn't find this helped all that much. What to use instead?

A normal old facecloth! 

(You might know these as washcloths if you live in America :) )

All you have to do is warm up the cloth by holding it under warm water for a few seconds. Wring it dry and then hold it to your eyebrow for about 2 minutes. The heat is going to help your pores to open up, which is going to make it so much easier to pluck those stray brow hairs! 

If you have no facecloth lying around, you could pluck them right after a shower, for more or less the same effect!

How To Get Pretty Glam Eyes

Glam eyes are so pretty and really simple to do!

 All you need is some shimmery, gloss based eyeshadows, and some maybe some cream shimmer if you like! This look also calls for some fake eyelashes if you'd like, especially since it's mainly for going out and special occasions!

The main thing to remember is, don't use too many colours because you don't want it to get muddy, and make sure your brushes are clean too.

The brighter the colours for this look, the better! Liquid eyeliner is perfect for this make-up look as it'll make it look super glamourous! Have fun with it and let me know what you think!

Applying Fake Lashes For The Terrified!

We all know how annoying fake lashes can be. Sometimes they go on perfectly, without any trouble, but sometimes they're our worst enemy! I drew a little guide on how to apply them, so hopefully you wont have to panic before putting them on.

Glam Eyes Tutorial!

 GLAM EYES LOOK


New video guys! Hope you like it! To create this look I used my Maybelline Silk Glam quad, and Soap And Glory Mascara. The colour didn't come out too well since my camera's so bad but hopefully you can get the idea! I really like this look because it can be toned down with just a dust of powder, or made more dramatic with a touch more dramatic colour in the crease. If you like it, I'd love to do more tutorials like this-just let me know!

How To Get Longer Hair

Get Longer Hair With A Few Simple Tips 

Let's be honest, extensions are a god send for people who want to change their look around, but for some people, they'd rather just grow their hair out themselves. It can be hard to do this though, so I've put together a little list of tricks that really helped my hair to grow long!

I admit my hair could be in better condition..years of pointless straightening and now being slightly blondish have left me having to take extra good care of my hair-but it is pretty long! I made the mistake of cutting my hair waaay too short a few years ago, so I tried everything I could to grow it back! 

Here's what I found worked for me;

★ Hair Skin and nails supplements. I loooove and swear by these vitamins. This is gonna sound like advertising lol but it took around 3 weeks for me to notice the difference and I couldn't believe it! My hair skin and nails really were in better condition after using these, and they'll make sure your body gets all the little health benefits it might have been missing. 

★ I know it's gonna sound boooring but what you eat really does effect your hair. It's really important to eat some bit of good fat every day, it could be a slice of avocado or almonds. You've heard it before but fruits and veggies are gonna make sure your hair gets all the lovely vitamins it needs too! 

★ This is a really important one-please please don't over style your hair! It's crazy how much I used to use straighteners and now I only use them every once in a while! If you have to, blow drying is a much better option but make sure you use lots of heat protection spray. Think about it-how can your hair grow if you keep hurting it with fire :( It can't! :O

★ Brushes are a major cause of hair breakage so try using a comb instead. It'll take a lot longer to brush your hair but there'll be waaay less damage. 

★ A really important rule is to wash your hair less and less every week. The less you wash it, the faster it'll grow and the more natural oils will be able to build. Then, it'll make your hair so soft and shiny and healthy when you do wash it. The less you wash it, the less greasy it gets too-huzzah! 

★ Omega 3 are brilliant for your hair and will really bring it back to good health if it's not growing, or if it's really damaged.

How To Get Photo Perfect Skin

Happy New Years eve everyone!! I feel a little weird saying "photo perfect" but I don't really know what else to call it, so we'll just go with it haha! For sooo long I couldn't understand why my make-up didn't look as good in photos as I thought it did in real life, so I decided to figure out why! What I found out was there's different make-up products that will all help to make your face look really nice when that flash goes off!

I'm gonna write a little under this photo about technique and application, but if that kinda thing bores you I just added the most important tips to this photo;




That's me and my friends as you probably guessed lol! I do my make-up like that every time I go out-and here's how!

Firstly I use any ole moisturiser I have lying around. I always find you need a lot during winter because that pesky cold air just likes to dry up your face even more!

When that's dried a little I use my lighter foundation on my whole face (I used Loreal True Match here), even the places where you'd apply concealer.

Next, I take my darker foundation (Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish) and I use it around the sides of the face, always remembering to blend into the neck.

Now it's time for concealer and highlighter! To contour I take my dark concealer (I'm not sure what brand this is anymore!) and use it on the sides of the nose, and on my cheekbones. Then I fill in all the areas I'd normally conceal with Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, and making sure to add a line running down my nose for highlight.

Then blend blend blend!! I like a little sparkle too and I really recommend the Inglot Sparkling Dust. You can read my review here if you like!
