Simple Illuminating Radiance Cream

If you're like me and you like your skin to look dewy, fresh and luminous, I have a feeling you'll like this product. I love Simple skincare and I've been using this for a while now-I just haven't gotten around to blogging about it yet!

What is it?

Simple Illuminating Radiance cream is a really lovely product. I looove to mix this in with my foundation, but it's really nice on its own too. It makes for a perfect primer and it's filled with lots of things that are good for your skin.

Why I love it:

I have super sensitive skin too and this hasn't made me breakout at all. It's absolutely perfect for days when you don't feel like wearing too much foundation. Just mix a little foundation with the cream and you'll have a gorgeous complexion with a little coverage too.
This is definitely a staple in my makeup bag, especially now that it's leading into summer. Let me know if you try it and what you think :)

Smashbox Photofinish Primer

SIGH. I really don't like it when I've heard all the hype about a product, and it doesn't live up to the expectation. Unfortunately this is one of those times. I really wanted to love this, but I'm just not enamored with this primer like the entire population seems to be.
What is it?
I'm sure you've heard of this primer that everyone loves. Beauty gurus and vloggers can't seem to be  without it. Honestly, I'm starting to think I just got a bad one! Smashbox says it increases "longevity of foundation while reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores." Ehh...I really didn't see any huge difference in my foundation after using this. I admit it made my skin softer but apart from that, I feel like I've been conned big time.
The Final Verdict

I've tried to use this so many ways with so many different foundations and BB creams, and I just don't think it's worth the money at all. I will admit it makes your skin look nice in photos, but apart from that I can live without it. I think I'll stick to my NYX primer for now.

Rose Hip Oil-Simply Incredible

What is Rose Hip Oil??

Rose hip oil is a pressed seed oil made from, as the name suggests, rose hips. I don't know if you guys have heard, but rose hip oil is fantastic.

Why I love it?

To cut a long story short,  I've always had weird blemishes on my legs, and after trying everything I could think of to get rid of them, this has been the only thing that's worked. This is amazing for dehydrated or ageing skin too. You can get it in any chemist and it worked wonders for me. It's usually pretty cheap and it works for so many different skin problems.

I swear it's made so much difference to my skin and I'm not going to go blabbing on about it too much, but if you have any scarring, dark spots or redness, I really think this could be a solution for you. It smells lovely and makes for the most relaxing fragrance when heated.

If you have skin problems and find this worked for you-I'd love to hear all about it! ♡♥

The Mascara That Will Never Let You Down

I did a post recently about a mascara I have been loving, but I decided that one of my all time favourites needs some recognition too. I've been using Thick and Fast by Soap And Glory for a while now, but I always come back to this.

Why I love it:

This is L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black and it's amazing. It's brilliant for adding tons of volume, length and it lasts ages too. To be honest it does exactly what it says on the tin. I love the wand, and it hasn't made my eyes water once! It applies evenly and elongates lashes without making them look too clumpy. It doesn't dry out for ages either and you can build it up from a subtle day look to full on night look too. If I had to compare it to any high end mascara, I find it's almost an exact double for Diorshow. I have them both and I actually prefer this one a little more!

It's easy to find and seems to be on offer quite a lot-I really recommend everyone tries it!
